Activate Elgin is sponsoring ELGIN ON THE MOVE - Saturday September 26th at Festival Park. Our McKinley Tigers will be walking from 9:00am - 10:00am with the Mayor. Winners of the Mini-grant program to be announced at 10:05 am. Come out and join us and score a free McKinley Tigers T-Shirt! The "Friend of McKinley PTO" will be meeting up at the Yoga booth (Karen Terhost) near the fountains.

Walk with NENA in the July 4th Parade!!!!

Join NENA in Elgin's 4th of July Parade! We'll be handing out flags and fliers to promote the Monster Mash Bash event (trick-or-treat style). Walkers are encouraged to dress in 'Halloween' attire, as we accompany Doug's GTO convertible along the parade route and play tunes. We'll also have a need for NENA banner carriers (not a costume specific roll). Adults and many Kids welcome, pets in costume too!
